Now we are both back home. Just that we are miles apart. It isn't that bad when it's just somewhere across the sea.
The last time we met was one day before he left, at Curious Palette. I had an 1am closing shift. It was a bad shift when pouring went haywire, when the bar got jammed up, when the boss got sarcastic, when the saucer landed on the ground and split into two, when there weren't enough staffs to close.
You know how dramas had this heartbroken girl who cried and scrubbed the toilet bowl so hard at the same time?
Yep, at least the toilet was clean and I had to abandon the guys and take the transport home even though a lot was not done.
:(
And Charles was leaving, so I continued crying in the van on my way home. I think the driver was so scared so he was really nice to send me back to my doorstep. I looked like one shag slave anyway, he had to send me right to my gate.
It was a tough day, but it would only mean a tougher me, and us. :-)
Love is when you aren't into pretentious cafe food and drinks, yet still a regular. |
See you, very soon.

Picturing you scrubbing the toilet bowl as you cry isn't the best picture one can have.. *hugs* LDR really isn't easy but you're not here alone and he's always a phonecall/videocall/flight away. Distance is nothing when both your hearts are always tgt. Press on!
Yay to a tougher you! Both of you will grow stronger and better after this. So touched by your blog post :')
