Anyway, there was a mouse in my room and I moved everything on the floor out to the living room. I slept on the sofa the night before. Was so scared at first and was kept awake by the shock from the mouse. I saw the tail and the head.
It was later traced that it was because I left my food in the rubbish bin the night before. Remember the lunch that I ordered myself using my broken Spanish? Yea I couldn't finish it and decided to throw it away as the fish wasn't smelling as fresh.
It was probably the fishy smell that attracted the mouse. oh well, I should've thrown it away outside before coming home!!! Roar. I thought I could keep it for lunch another day. (Lunch is not provided for the homestay) well, and there wasn't any rubbish bin in the house. Even the toilet and kitchen did not have one.
Now I feel so bad that there's a mouse hiding somewhere in the house because of my stupidity. They didn't find the mouse and they moved my bed into Jacq's room. We are sharing the room now. I'm intruding her space but I don't really feel at ease in the small room with weird sounds in the middle of the night. I don't know if I'm too paranoid or what...
Expected: trail walks & massive waterfall.
Reality: amazing animal garden & ... a waterfall..?
I'm more excited to see the animals than the waterfall.
The zoo part was really cool. I saw a lot of animals insects and some frogs and snakes.. the tiny frogs kinda grossed me out.
Here are some photos. Some of the animals are really beautiful!

Butterfly eggs.

Fierce snake.

Friendly snake..

Can you spot the hummingbird?

Baby moo moo.

Nice photography skills lol

A painter was painting and selling his work at the end of the tour.

This is the windy road. It was a bumpy ride and Jerry, our guide and host from Spanish school, was the best driver ever. he would overtake a vehicle on a single lane road at a turn. And he could multitask really well, such as messaging on his phone and driving and changing gear all at the same time. Yes, he's driving a manual transmission.

Tony!!! The dog in my homestay place. So cute. Makes me wanna have one too!
I got dropped off at Ala Juela town area and have to transfer to a public bus. Together with Bronte and Natasha, we took a bus back to Heredia. I did not join the majority of them to Monteverde. Hahaha it costs USD$90 and it's for one night accommodation, ziplining and swinging in the canopy. Done that in NZ so no! No matter how many people telling me how I should've gone there it's super beautiful blah blah... Seriously? scenery is hard to beat. So far, Costa Rica has been really normal looking - similar to 九份 in Taiwan. Mountains and houses and lots of greens. NZ is breathtaking. Nah thanks. I rather go sightseeing somewhere else. Which I did. More on that later.
After I reached home, Patri showed me the room and my stuffs as they shifted my things for me. they're really so nice I am grateful. And she even put a wired net thingy at the door to prevent things from sneaking into the room. Well, I forgot about it and tripped over it and injured myself :(
So useless haiz. I feel like I'm so useless being taken care of. It's nice to have meals fixed for me whenever I want to eat, but I'd choose to be on my own to freely do whatever I want without having to answer to anyone.
Then again, I'm going back to Singapore back to the home where I get taken care of. I should start getting used to it because it's impossible for me to get another place to live in sg.

Hurt myself but such is life.
