Costa Rica: Day 2

Ok, I didn't take photo of breakfast today because I was charging my phone and being the very smart girl I've always been, I left my phone at home.

Went to school for cooking class, which I contributed with my power of staring and eating.
Dance class was really fun since most of us are beginners and learning from scratch.

I joined Bronte and Natasha during lunch break not to eat lunch, but to chit chat haha. Those girls are really so funny they've been observing the group and were talking about the plan to hook people up in the group. so they were guessing who's single and putting their names on the list LOL.

Because of that, we skipped lunch haha. I wasn't very hungry that's why I joined them. but hahaha, 3 of us were starving during class. Ok so we planned to have lunch tomorrow at a nearby "soda" (typical Costa Rica eatery).

Interestingly, we learned how to ask people if they have a girlfriend/boyfriend. Haha so I already know who's single/attached in my class. It's only a small class of 8 people. Oh and Charles you're famous. My teacher asked what's his name? After I replied her, I think Zoe repeated "oooh... Charles! *lightbulb appears*!!" And the whole class echoed "Charles!"

One of them has a girlfriend on the same tour group but she was in the class next door. Guess what? My teacher went next door to find his girlfriend hahaha!! Super entertaining. I love how Monika(my teacher) is so quirky.

Second half of the class omg I was fighting the damn zzz monster because I had friggin insomnia the night before and only managed to sleep about 3plus, almost 4am..

After class everyone went to the buffet dinner at some really famous attraction high up there where you can see the whole of Costa Rica! There's also an open bar and disco tech. Hahaha. All the aussies were super excited about the drinking part, the open bar and the dancing part at the disco.

I walked home with Bronte instead.

Hm. I know right, I really think this age thing is changing my life. Whatever happened to the adventurous-wannna-try-everything-since-I'm-already-here kinda yjc. Idk.

Half of me was glad that I didn't sign up because I was really worn out during class. In desperate need to sleep. And I also wanna go for the coffee plantation tour tomorrow morning, which sets off at 8am from school. On top of that, I have another dance class and Monika gave quite a bit of homework.

Adrianna(the daughter of my host mom) was telling me about how I should've gone to see and experience even if I don't wanna drink (that was my excuse when I told her lol.) If you lemme choose again maybe I'll go.. but do you know that feeling when you go out at night to party feeling under dressed and looking like shiat the entire night? And I was so tired I wouldn't wanna drink with a group of people whom I only know for a few days.

Instead of a buffet spread, I had a humble homemade dinner. But I realised she always uses the microwave to heat up my food. I wonder how long they kept the food for. Ah, but super yumz!!

Rice, red and black beans, some side dishes which idk how to explain. All I can say is that I've never eaten such cuisine before hahaha. really is super local. And I'm thankful that my stomach is still able to accept the changes.

Lemme end of with a photo of the cute little doggie living in the house! Super cute!

Tony!!!

Buenas noches. (Good night.)
