So... nothing surprising... I went to wine bar with Charmaine, but already gotten my notebook and pen in my bag JUST IN CASE I have no time to get back home and come out again. Actually in my heart, I already planned on staying out the entire night and go straight for the seminar.
I'm that sort of person who will never go the extra mile to do things. Why go home for that sleep which couldn't possibly last for more than an hour before bouncing off bed reluctantly and travel back to town again? And that is quite risky considering that I might be really tired/lazy to the extent of missing the seminar.
Since I'm already near town area, I could save some transportation fare AND some precious time. Sometimes I don't know why I want to do this kind of stupid things to torture myself.

2nd order after 2 pints of Erdinger. We had 4 pints of Erdinger, 2 Dreamer and 8 shots of sourplum. And a few more shots of sourplum by a birthday boy and his friend! #alcoholic |
I don't know what good deeds I did in the past but Charmaine managed to bring me into the club. To be honest, phuture doesn't feel the same anymore after experiencing tgiw at zouk. It just feels wrong and the crowd wasn't what I expected. Or maybe, it's just me getting old.
Walked to SRC after phuture closed. Took a nap at the empty lounge till about 8am and took a shower. The good thing about src is that they provide towels, toiletries, comb, hairdryer, lotion, leave-in hair conditioner etc... So I didn't really have to bring a large bag to club the night before.
While I was on my way to Pan Pacific, I walked through Marina Square and I saw KFC!! Have been longing to try their new (now not considered new already lah) blueberry pancake breakfast!!! Never really got the chance because my body clock is screwed so by the time I wake up, it's already lunch time.

Breakfast for 1. $2.95 only! Add $1 for coffee/tea. |
Average tasting but really not too bad for the price I'm paying. The scrambled eggs were good though. How bad can eggs go anyway!! The hashbrown was quite yummy too. I usually skip hash browns for McD breakfast but I finished this one. Maybe, I was just too hungry.
Thanks to my determination of staying out the night, I was early for the seminar!! I was super late for the previous seminar which started in the afternoon =x
Headed home for a 2 hours sleep (had to go home this time round. Was zonking out and had to charge my phone) before crawling out of my bed to Neverland II for Yan Ya Lun's music showcase. I swear I was super passive through the showcase. Really no energy and cannot compete with those xmms.

Still a qtpie to me though. |
When the other girls got onto their minivans/cabs rushing to mediacorp to catch yyl live at the sheng siong show, I made my way to vivo in search for my dinner. Super hungry really. Oh ya, other than my body clock, my meal times are screwed too. I walked around vivo for at least 1.5hours deciding on where to eat. Indecisive and fickle minded...
Ended up at Food Republic having THUNDER TEA RICE!!!! It's a hakka cuisine and I LOVE IT. I will finish up the entire bowl of rice can you believe it? In case you don't know what the hell I'm eating, let me show you.

Soup = 1 big scoop of the tea leaves+herbs "concentrate" (from above picture) and hot water. Choice of white/brown rice with various types of vege, tofu, anchovies, and peanuts. |
When I first ate this at my grandma's place, I was taught to pour the soup into the bowl of rice and mix everything together. Somewhat like a wet version of bibimbap. This is good if the rice is too dry.
Traditionally, the vegetables/tofu are supposed to be very very oily and salty so that it won't taste so dry. But none of those I tasted are super oily. Thank goodness.
For me, I prefer to separate the soup or just add a few spoonfuls of soup into the rice to make it less dry and easier for swallowing.
I still prefer the one at Boon Lay market because another type of vegetable is served there. The one I had at Vivo didn't serve that. I don't know what is the name of the vege though. It has a mix of sweet and salty taste.. My favourite vege found in thunder tea rice.

Nevertheless, a very satisfying dinner because I hadn't had a proper rice-based meal in a very long time. Even when I eat at home, I don't eat white rice because it's tasteless and a waste of tummy space. But my mom will force me to... So I will just eat a little bit. DON'T ASK ME WHY I AM STILL SO FAT DESPITE NOT EATING MUCH RICE. It's actually my massive appetite for vegetables, seafood and TONS OF DESSERTS AND PASTRIES GOSH.
I wasn't very filled and that leads me to meeting the guys at Old Town @ Chun Tin Court for some supper. Average tasting chendol served there :(
Headed back home for Mahjong till about 4am before I wash up and snuggle into my bed for a proper rest at about 5 plus in the morning. Sometimes I'm amazed by how I can still survive with that minimal amount of sleep. Think twice before you complain about being sooooo drained and tired because your day started super early in the morning. Some people didn't even sleep.
