Catching up with some movies

The last movie I watched in a theatre was Ah boys to Men last year. Hahaha. Finally, Ning and I caught Cloud Atlas at Marina Square yesterday before my training. I went there without know what movie I was watching. Obviously this was Ning's choice of movie because my taste for movies is quite bad. Movies which I will want to catch on my own accord are usually Chinese movies, or chick flicks. Very shallow and superficial... Not in the cut for thinking. After all, movies are for entertainment and enjoyment right? I don't enjoy racking my brains.

But I did enjoy Cloud Atlas.. At least, I understood the movie a few minutes before the credits rolled. If I can understand the message of this movie, I'm sure none of you will get lost. The casts were all very charismatic and that was what kept my eyes on the screen throughout 2 hours 52 mins. A very very very long movie. Quite worthy of my money.

Also because of the super long show time, I was famished by the time the movie ended. Had to grab something light if not I'd turn into a Merlion during training. Settled on...

YA KUN KAYA TOAST!! Yea, what's new right?

NEVER SICK OF THIS.

Haiz, life of a working adult. Ning is working while I savoured my trad breakfast set!!

WORK WORK WORK.
Hmmm, the kopi was damn sweet though. Slight disappointment from me because ya kun has always been one of my favourites due to their consistency.

Well, and today (Friday) was spent peacefully at coffee bean. The branch at Holland V has really nice ambience. Did some productive research there.

Basically, the residential college I applied to had rejected me a few days ago. So another college is considering my application. I hope they accept me if not I will have to sleep on the streets. The exciting thing I heard about this second college is their reputation of an Asian college, but most importantly, a PARTY COLLEGE!!! Homg, maybe this is a sign that the first college (heard that it's the best) rejected me. But anyway, the worse part of this process is the wait. Zzzz.
