Finally JB

Yesterday I took 170 with my mom to City Square at JB. Finally I get the chance to go Malaysia!! My last visit there was 6 years ago.. It was an impromptu plan. It just so happen that both of us are unemployed (I am part-time employed) so Monday was my off day. My mom was so random she suddenly suggested going down to JB as she knows that I am DYING to visit Malaysia.

The journey there was quite fast! Faster than taking a bus down to Tampines, which is at the other side of Singapore.

I freaking love Old Town White Coffee there! Seriously, I don't mind taking a bus there in the morning just to have breakfast there! The coffee tasted different and my mom mentioned that the half boiled eggs there were awesome, different from the ones we had in Singapore's branches. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try it because I was too full from eating too much junk food, deep fried food and tons of ice cream. I super love the half boiled eggs in Singapore already and what more if she said it's way better across the causeway?! Can't wait to try it the next time when I have the chance to go there.

Had dinner at some place which serves hot stone grills! I didn't see this kinda thing in Singapore so my mom and I decided to try it out.

Seafood beehoon soup on hot stone.
Finished product.
The beehoon soup was quite bland, but refreshing enough, thanks to the fresh seafood. The fish slices were very QQ boing boing I love it. The sotongs were meh, average.

Green mussels cooking on the hot stone.

Finished product and my mom's tummy hehehe.
The mussels were really fresh. But the last two I had were a little dry. I reckon it was due to overheating and all the juice evaporated. The fried rice were very fragrant though! Not bad, but be careful not to burn your hand because the stones were heated at high temperature. Raw meat can be cooked on top of the stone! They serve steaks, salmon, and other meats as well. I would love to try the steaks if I were to eat beef. You can cook the steak to whatever degree of rawness on your own! I know alot of places tend to overcook the steak...

After dinner, I bought a Caramel Almond pretzel, which wasn't very impressive. I still prefer cinnamon sugar. Had a cup of Hazelnut White Coffee at Old Town before heading back to Singapore. :)

On another note, look at this!

Seriously, my life is fulfilled I can die tomorrow already say real one.
