Shopping for groceries!

This is probably one of my favourites! It is like a quest to purchase all the necessary stuffs, with sale items as distractions. Sometimes, some fruits that I wanted to get looked really bad and I would end up with some other fruits.

The feeling facing a well-stocked fridge and pantry... how do I even describe...? Beyond satisfaction. And I cannot wait to try on some of the new products I bought from different brands (usually this happens when that brand product is on sales).

Anyway, putting Auntie Chong aside, I was waiting for my peanut butter waffle in the queue and observing the new part-timers at work. They moved so slowly and 样子看起来要死不死要活不活的.
Best of all? I thought I could get away from customers' stupid questions since I'm taking a short break from work. #cafepains. But no!! I got a question from this girl serving me which really left me dumbfounded. She was packing a plain waffle into the paper bag so I quickly tell her my order was peanut butter waffle.

Then she looked at me with this super confused face.

"Peanut and butter? Together?" 

Omg, I understand that Margarine is also another topping option, which some people might mistook it as butter too... But peanut butter is quite self explanatory right?

I cannot really blame her because later on, her manager came over and pointed at the menu telling her, "kaya, peanut butter all these add 20cents", that and what add 30cents.. Ok, she's basically repeating the menu to her. Everything is pretty straightforward why is the manager treating her like she can't read?

Giving service to people is such a joy, especially when it comes to food. I really loveeeeee hehehe. Haven't been working in a while. Another of my favourite thing to do is to work at Strangers'. Can't wait for Monday!! Haven't had their coffee in a while. Super looking forward to it woooohooo.

Drove up to Toh Tuck just to buy a takeaway 4oz white at Nec Provisions today before heading to Fairprice because the last time I had espresso + milk coffee was more than a week ago. The coffee was not bad (got kick), but the milk was not that well-textured. And... not hot enough. I think... I'm just gonna try the iced espresso with milk the next visit.

Oh ya, and as you can see, I'm drinking milk-based coffee and eating peanut butter waffle hahaha. It took me only one day to get over with all the low self-esteem thing. HAHAHA.
