Education?

Got me thinking. Why do some people view Education so important to the extent of seeing basic education as nothing and only elite educators can be considered as quality education...

Jiahui was from SCGS, VJC and SMU before coming to Melbourne... And she was sooooo angry with her sister who chose BPGHS over SCGS. According to her, why not go for the better when you have the choice? There are teachers of better quality from the elite schools and the system would shape you into a better person. She told us how she felt so strongly against it and I can feel the rage and her firm stance on it.

Education is important, but it's not everything. Just like how money is important, but there are a lot of other elements that money can't buy.

That brought me back to realise how fortunate I am to have supportive parents (who knew little about Education systems) so I was never pressured to score or excel in academical means. Never ever. My parents always tell me 尽力就好 (as long as I've tried my best), and they were the witnesses to my sleepless nights (even though some nights were due to last minute work)...

HEHE BUT I AM SO GLAD THAT I'M NOT A VICTIM OF PRO-EDUCATION PARENTS/SIBLINGS.
