I am recovering well. Back for netball training sessions and some light exercises on my own. Initially, I wanted to shed some weight because I looked chubby and baba (meaty). The thought of going to Melbourne in a month's time and missing all the local food is an obstacle... I kept eating... So, I guess I will just give up. Good thing is that my weight is around 50kg now. Was quite depressed previously when it was 52kg even though there wasn't much difference. I still look chubby anyway.
Met Serena for our usual "exercise first, then eat later" last Tuesday. Went to the gym at src since I had training in the evening so it was more convenient for me. Guess what we had for our linner? BREAD. Yea, with only the both of us, our meal choices are always revolving around bread. We settled for Tiong Bahru Bakery at Raffles City. Finally got to try their Squid ink specialty bread with smoked salmon and rocket veg.

The original recipe has ham in it. $8.50 |
The seemingly black sesame seeds are actually spices so it has got this fragrance to it. Couldn't really make out the squid ink taste, but it was soft on the inside and the slight crisp on the outside (due to the heating up I think) was a good balance. I love the rocket veg and the salmon is fresh. Not bad really. Just feel that the price is a little steep can't really eat this often.

I didn't wash up because I had training afterwards so don't judge. |

$8 Pumpkin soup |
We shared the pumpkin soup (new item). The bread was good but the soup had this indian essence. Not really a bowl of western pumpkin soup.
After the meal, we walked around citylink and it was a bad idea to walk into BreadTalk because this is what happens...
Despite being full from our linner, this girl went crazy and bought another piece of bread. They had special editions for cny and I was quite tempted to try! It didn't rain so I went for netball. Goodness, the court was not available so we ran to nicole highway and back to src. Did some core exercises and my entire body was aching the next day. Shiokz.
