Oh dear, the party location was @!£%^*@&@ºª•§¢@¶∞£%! super duper ulu and FAR. If not for the birthday girls, I would have given it a miss. I picked jj up at about 8pm, and reached the place at 9.30pm.
Yes... I lost my way and exited the expressway wrongly not only once, but TWICE. Zhen de. I chose to blame it on the location because I only know how to go from home and going home. I had no problems navigating my way back home that morning. HAHA. But it's alright, we learn as we get lost! But poor jj had to endure throughout the 1.5h car ride.
Char had already cut her 2-tier birthday cake once but she kept having cut-cake session for the sake of the late people. After eating and photo-taking session, I hopped to the next door, where yunqi was also celebrating her 21st birthday party there!! Such coincidence!! So convenient to attend two parties for me but that would mean present (x2)! Already bought 3 gifts so far in the month of January to my friends celebrating their 21st. I don't usually prepare gifts, but oh well, it's 21st!! It will only happen ONCE in your entire lifetime, that particular year when you are officially an adult (in sg context). I think it should be somewhat memorable and important. But then again, maybe it's just the traditional Chinese sort of thinking.
Fast forward to the second part of the night at Char's villa. I shared a leg with jj for Mahjong! While she was playing the first two winds, I joined another group for BLACKJACK. Hahaha gambling and alcohol would never go wrong at a party. Speaking of which, I think mahjong, blackjack and poker are MANDATORY skills if you want to survive at a party (unless it's a peaceful sort of gathering eat and talk cock party). When they wanted to change game to poker, I was thinking to myself, omg, luckily I learned abit of poker from Bert and Irvin...! Really, if I don't learn it before from Bert and Irvin, I will still have to learn it some other time at another gathering. I'm not very good at that but I will keep learning and refreshing my memory Everytime there's a poker game!
Well, lost all my coins in my pouch and went to watch tv... Booohoo. Poor char had to tank all the hard liquor her friends fed her. She was damn high towards the end of the night, but was conscious of her surroundings. Her violent side showed up and I was quite shocked and sad to witness the scene. I almost wanted to cry but I couldn't do anything to help... She looked so miserable...
It's so amazing how people react to alcohol effects so differently. And to be honest, I feel that it is quite a reliable reference to a person's personality. Not all, but true enough.
Luckily I drove and thus managed to escape all alcohol offered to me. I did not even had one single drip in me. I was really super thirsty and there was no water at all. Longzhong masi alcohol omg!! I resorted to tap water no joke.
We left the place at 5plus in the morning.. I honestly didn't know how I managed to stay through... Must be mahjong. Time flies with mahjong...! Sent jj home and dropped Clifford at the bus stop.

Yes, I did it with 3 hours of sleep the night before because of zouk. The following day I had to wake up (in the afternoon fortunately) to give my cousin piano tuition... I was feeling super sick and wobbly super reluctant for lesson.. But I went ahead eventually and glad that I did! I felt so much better when I was working! Maybe it's the need to focus and it distracts me.
Happy 21st my friends... It's gonna soon be my turn!! Very soon because I fast-forwarded it. Hehe.
