Cocoa overdosed

I was supposed to be revising my notes and working on the powerpoint presentation, but I ate the entire bar of dark chocolate with high % of cocoa and ended up feeling unwell and nausea.

THIS IS POISON.

I lied on the bed, head too heavy to move about. Shouldn't have skipped my dinner just to snack on chocolate. I deserved it.

To my surprise, hkm appeared at the gate and gave me a pleasant surprise. I said I wanted to eat broccoli and salmon and he encouraged me to get out of bed to make our way to IKEA to have my cravings satisfied.



It's not really a craving, but I just felt the need to eat those stuffs to overcome the disgusting feel lingering around my chest and tummy the dark chocs have caused. I am feeling much better now and dare not skip any more meals in the future for snacks. Proper meals are so important, especially for an ageing person like myself.

Sunday is the big day when I am challenging and pushing myself to another limit. I might be gone if I'm not careful enough. But as long as I'm aware of it, I won't let it happen because... it's not worth it. As much as I hate to eat rice, I'm gonna force myself to eat at least one full bowl of rice from tomorrow onwards. Carbo loading starts tomorrow and I'm going to start my recovery period too.

My mom flared at me for being so greedy with snacks and skipped my proper meal. I won't do it again and will definitely eat proper when I'm not in sg. I don't care if I am too fat for more carbo but I think feeling comfortable and healthy is my priority now.

@JY Thank you for your concern! muahahaha I just hope to finish the race within 8 hours and not injure myself hahaha. I loaded alot of carbo man! Good excuse to eat more bread!!
