Happy stuffs

I realised this space is full of grunts and full loads of emo stuffs. Actually, my life is not that bad! I am so much happier ever since I returned from Shanghai. At least, I do not hate school that much now. "Hate" used to be an understatement. That's how bad it was.

Enough of all these sad stuffs, I need to blog more happy things that happened in my life.

I went ice-skating with Ning after lecture today! Impromptu plans worked quite well for me. Well, I do have an acting assessment tomorrow morning, but man, it's totally holiday mood for me. Vrooooom vroooom all the way to Kallang! Not bad right. The journey was less than an hour. Improvements. Actually, I like to chit chat with my friends while driving. But, it was quite difficult to multi-task.

The last time I skated was in June while I was still in Shanghai. I never been to the skating rink at Kallang before. From what I heard, I always thought that it was a super big ice rink. But I was wrong. It was pathetically small (almost the same size as the old skating rink at Jurong). Price was alright I guess. $13 (student) + $3.50 (skates rental) = $16.50 for a 2 hour session.

2 hour seemed quite short at first. I remember it was either 4 hours/unlimited package back at Jurong Entertainment Centre and I could tank the entire 4 hours with loads of energy. Sighs, time is catching up really. I find it quite tiring and I could feel soreness at my thighs. All the other skaters looked so young! I guess, maybe ice-skating is an activity for up to secondary school kids?

I enjoyed today's session even though I wasn't skating with Ning most of the time. Caught a movie after skating. Impromptu part 2. Hahaha. Honestly, I was quite amazed that Ning was on a detox diet. She really can control super well. And the fruits she ate was in moderate amount. Unlike me who will spam fruits and yoghurt like mad. Really salute her determination! Ning you can do it! Jiayou jiayou jiayou!!

My hedy king prize finally arrived! I passed my Grade 6 Theory in March last year and I only got the cheque from London only last week. So efficient. Hehehe.

It's my first time receiving an overseas cheque. Exciting...

Flying envelope.

Actually, this is the 2nd cheque I received. The first cheque was not signed by the Director. Hahahhaa. Can you imagine this piece of paper flew to Sg from London and back to London again for the Director to sign on the cheque and fly back to Sg again?!?! Hahahhaha. This cheque shiok only. Fly so often!

But the best thing I knew from POSB is that they'll charge a fee for international cheques.  I deposited the cheque three weeks ago and it's still not banked into my account... Speak of efficiency.

My name is also published in their Annual newsletter hehehe. It's not something super big and awesome, but to me I think I accomplished something in my life. Hahaha! Singapore has 84 names on that list. It's considered a lot compared to the other countries and considering the size of Singapore.

Gonna start working on my Piano pieces soon! (After I get back home, but I don't think I can get back before New Year sighs)...
