Another round of spinning

It felt great to have someone driving you around. My brother and I went to Toa payoh in search of our budget ktv session. It was quite a last minute decision so we didn't make any reservations.

We couldn't find the place and drove around that area for quite a long time. The traffic sucks so we got stuck on the road for more than an hour. I was really excited since it's such a great deal for a not-low-class-looking-ktv. When we reached the place, it was only applicable to a minimum spending of $30, which means 3 pax! We tried asking and woa, no rooms are left.

Disappointed, we left the place and called up other ktv places. No one answers our calls! Saturday really so busy? Ktv really so popular in Singapore meh?

Anyway, we ended up making our way to Kbox at broadway plaza. It was standard charge and it's the only place which answers phone calls and have vacant rooms for the afternoon. We kind of understood why when we reached there. Broadway plaza was under renovation and we had to take a lift up. It's somewhat similar to Clementi's branch, but worse. Hardly see anyone, even the servers are quite rarely seen. The best part is that they are using the old system! Think of the remote control and the pathetic small tv and an even smaller one for you to choose songs. I was quite amazed by myself that I used to enjoy going to kbox in the past with this lousy system. The sound system is quite faulty. A little blast is always accompanied by distortions.

I'm so glad that technology is making our lives better. Just don't look back.

We ended the session at 7pm and I was dying (of tiredness). Youth phase is coming to a stop. This final school holiday is coming to an end too. Honestly, I think I've spent this holiday playing and fooling around. Even though it doesn't feel very constructive, I really had lots of fun. Never did I have this amount of fun before because I used to work my ass off during school holidays (which I regretted). What's next? Youthful campus life. I will try my bestest to embrace my final semester in school, and of course, not forgetting to have fun at the same time.
