World of hope

Happy 45th birthday Singapore!

It's probably that one day out of the entire year that my love for Singapore couldn't be more. I had only 3 red tops and I wore one yesterday. It felt really good to see other people wearing red/white too. When the nation comes together as one, celebrating for Singapore, I was touched.

Nevermind the days where I complained about SG transportation, people here etc... No one can deny it's really fortunate to be born here. Safe from all natural disasters, accessibility within the country etc... The facilities here were more than sufficient. And a well-known university here, Noos!!!!! I'm well-fed, well-sheltered in this small island. Sometimes, I think I had so many things to do in this tiny island that I can't bring myself to leave for another country for a holiday(although I want to get out badly.) That's how full a life for me in SG can be.

Jobs are easily available too. It's just a matter of fact whether you want to do it or not. For me, as long as it's at least $5 per hour, I'm fine with it. Holiday part-time job here I come!

Busy life in Singapore. But it feels good to be busy without having to go to school.
Of course if it's school stuffs, I won't be enjoying my busy life. I love to wake up so early in the morning and NOT go to school.

It feels good to know everyone else is working hard towards something they want to achieve, no matter where they are. Somehow, these little things motivate me as well.

I seldom make a wish (I even acted like I made a wish when I cut birthday cakes). If I had a chance to do that, I will not let it pass. I wished that the people around me and of course myself to be healthy. Recently, I learned that health is really very precious. Never ever take it for granted just because you are still young.
