My 3rd SSO concert!

SORRY IT'S GONNA BE MUSIC AGAIN!!! WAHAHAHAHA!!



Went Esplanade today with SMSS music class(except for Hui Xian & Jerry) for Elgar Anniversary: Pomp And Circumstance (SSO)!!

there are 4 items in total

SCHUBERT Symphony No. 5 in B-flat major, D. 485
ELGAR Pomp and Circumstance March No. 4
MOZART Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K467
ELGAR Cockaigne, Op. 40

ANYWAY, the highlight og the concert was MOZART Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K467 because there was a guest performer, the pianist, Antti Siirala.


First up, Schubert Symphony!
after all the 4 movements were played, Phyllis was shooting lots of questions at me.

Phyllis: Hey Yan Jing. Tell me, which period?
Me: -.- Romantic lah.
Phyllis: haha. GIVE REASON.
Me: Cos it's Schubert. lol.
Phyllis: =.= EXCEPT FOR THIS!!!!

haha. i find this so funny. but anyway i did come up with 3 supporting reasons ok!
See, i'm trying hard for Music. but that does not mean all hard work pays off..


Next, Elgar pomp and circumstance march.

THIS IS VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL!!

OMG! NEXT UP IS MY FAVOURITE!
MOZZIE CONCERTO!!! WHOOHOO!!

it lasted for 29 minutes!! and the pianist is really very good!

The fun part is...

We "shouted" encore by applausing!
The applause was SOOOOOO LONGGGGGGGG!! AND LOUD.
(for your info, encore for the pianist solo)
then the pianist walked in and out repeatedly.

Our applauses died off and came back again.
so damn long. almost reaching 5 minutes! >.<
