It's been a journey. Although as compared to many other students, I had a friggin' short journey. Four semesters, sixteen subjects, and a hell load of essays. Not forgetting a few psychology exams which were awesome because (1) they save my shitass lab reports which I always barely passed, (2) I'm entitled to carte crepe free crepe.
The day I came to Melbourne alone with 2 hugeass luggage and 1 handcarry and 1 bulging backpack, I was sent to college square. Without bedsheets and pillow and toilet paper, I went through the first night with just milk and Tim Tams.
I can still remember vividly that feeling when I sat down on the couch in my "apartment". Feeling worn out, but at the same time relieved. Wow, sucha big space all to myself... It was meant for two people, but heh.
Huiyu came in to live with me for the 2nd semester. 3rd semester was spent in Essendon serviced apartment, which was also the worst out of all places I've stayed at. It got so bad that I didn't want to go back anymore. Finally, I moved out with Heidi to North Coburg. It was even further up north away from the city, but tram 19 was really convenient and frequent. Stops near to the uni too. I love the interior and neighbourhood there. So much food!! The only bad experience was probably the extreme cold nights during winter... I can't even...
Finally in the last semester, Heidi and I moved into our apartment in Brunswick West. And also, we got back all our baggages. I love the apartment. So spacious and because it's on the ground floor, sometimes I feel like I'm living in a house.
Time's seriously running out. I love how I'm graduating yet I don't even know what I've learned academically. What have I been doing exactly? Is this the legendary uni life? Did I miss anything?
