Burger burger vegie burger

I'm actually amazed by this amazing city, where I found vegetarian pizza which tasted so much better than meat lovers' pizza and veggie patty burger can be so yummy. Grilled portobello mushroom burger from Grill'd and last but not least, soft shell crab burger.

I think $12 for a palm-sized burger is quite pricey, but gosh, it's a crabby in there. Seriously, the bun is so soft and squishy and the crab is crisp and juicy all at the same time. It's okay to indulge once in a while, right? But I wouldn't order coffee here again.

They are also permanently located at 428 Little Bourke and 364 Chapel. Their food truck is also on the move all around Melbourne. The other day before Nike Run I saw their truck at Federation Square. When I see a cute food truck in the middle of a square, I just want to pig out and eat all these unhealthy food!!

Tofu mini burger (x2) $10, @Suda

Went to this place for Van's birthday lunch. It was highly raved on urban spoon as it was cheap, but the portion was little... Ben's ramen was just like instant ramen, which he thought he can easily make on his own. This burger did not give me the shiok after feeling like how the soft shell crab burger and falafel burger did.

@ Emporium food court

The other day I was having dinner alone and just felt like pigging out so I went to get lentils burger at Emporium food court. It was huge but really dry. I don't like it. But the onion rings (yes, I ordered onion rings oh gosh) were really yumz. So oily and cripsy! Makes my tummy so warm and filled. It was during the period when I was rushing essays, so it is okay to eat something comforting to keep myself going right? Hahahaha. Always coming out with new excuses.

• Grill'd veggie burgers, but my personal favourite is "Field of Dreams".

The 3rd veggie burger used to be some lentil/chickpea patty, but I think they changed the menu! I've yet to try the Falafel burger. Gotta make my next visit there soon!! Nyehehe. Love it especially when they have 2-for-1 promotion. 

• Huxtaburger's Sondra!!!!

Huxtaburger is an American burger joint and I first tried it with my bosses and colleagues from Strangers' when they came to Melbourne for the coffee expo. Sondra is the only vegetarian option, but damn, why so good? Tofu burgers are usually made of deep fried tofu and they tasted really hard and dry. Sondra's tofu is grilled and super soft and juicy. Highly recommended! They are located at various locations - http://www.huxtaburger.com.au. The other day I also saw a new one at Carlton! Excited. Can I have one now???
