15.7.14

Longest flight and transit ever.

Doha is pretty advanced in terms of their technology. There's free wifi at the the airport (Hamad International Airport), and tons of iMacs for people like me whose phone wifi antenna is working. New HTC in my hands in less than a day's time!! Quite excited hehe. And it's summer here in Doha. It was 32 Degree Celsius when we landed just now at 6.15AM. Really comforting even though we were just staying indoors in the airport. SO GOOD TO ESCAPE THAT CRAY CRAY MELB WEATHER. Even the Korean hairdresser told me that Melb feels way colder than winter in Korea even though it's under 0 degree with all that snowing going on. Oh well...

Qatar is not bad an airline, but their service is really slow. Air stewardess seemed to be coming from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. They changed uniform, or maybe just don on a blazer, during the flight. Food was good. They always have an option for vegetarian, so even if I didn't get the special meal, I still have something to eat from the usual menu. And defo my choice will not run out first.

One thing about flying is that even though we were so well-fed during the entire flight, I always feel like snacking on something else. It was about 13+ hours on the plane but surprisingly, it wasn't too torturous. I thought my seat was the most comfy flight seat I've ever gotten in my life. I can stretch my body in full length and sleep with my body straight in a slanted angle. Or maybe the red wine was doing its job too well. Not bad at all! Mango ice-cream served just one second after I woke up from my nap was amazingly yummy. Maybe my brain received the signal that food is approaching and told my body to wake up. I tried to watch a movie after the ice-cream but well... hahaha pig never changes its snort. oink oink.

Flying with Tin can get quite annoying at times when he gave me that kiam pa face. But he's always clearing my rubbish for me and buying me food and coffee even though I already told him that I don't want any. And this young gentleman can really talk A LOT. In that long haul flight, I only managed to watch ONE movie can you believe it ?! I planned to watch so many more movies.. but ended up rewatching The Secret Life of Walter Mitty with full concentration, but I watched it in segments with random accidental naps in between..

Boarding gate is gonna open in 35 mins' time!! Geeeez!!! How time flies!! More food awaits again.. Gosh how to diet you tell me???!! Also, I kinda lost track of time. Because I'm traveling against time, I'm actually eating more meals than what I should be. It's weird and I'm really confused..

TILL THEN! :)
