Pre-Shanghai trip

It has been a long time since I last watched a movie alone at the theatre. After working on Wednesday, I just felt like catching a movie since I'm already in town. 

No nice nails like @mandymanda008 :(

It was quite a bad one. Boring and typical story line, but oh well, the main actor/actress are really appealing to my eyes. Love Angelababy's wardrobe in the movie. All her clothes are simple yet so beautiful, but of course, she is like a clothes rack 穿什么都好看.

Luckily Benjamin was near town area to fix his tyres and I very buay paiseh got a free ride home. Went to eat dinner (or supper considering the time) first since there's company. Talked a bit with his group of friends and it's a reassurance to me that THIS IS A SMALL WORLD. One of his friends does curtains for Ginger's and my uncle's house! He is also friends with everyone in ginger's family. 

Had breakfast with @JINGYIIII at Zhenghua village the next morning. That crazy girl went drinking the night before and still managed to crawl out of bed to eat breakfast with me. @jningchan is another crazy friend who is willing to sacrifice her sleep just to eat with me. Or rather, to watch me eat since she barely touched her bowl of noodles! Hahahaa. So thankful for crazy friends like them.

Met nana for lunch in town during her break time. That crazy workaholic took up 3 part time jobs and works everyday so I had no choice but to visit her during her breaks. Decided to try something new and had Hand Burger. The bread is quite different from the usual soft burger buns. It's not as soft but more chewy. Not bad. 

Forgot the name of this burger but it's the only vegetarian burger. 

The huge patty looked like a beef patty but it's a humongous mushroom! Juicy and chewy omg the mushroom is really quite nice. A set like this cost about $15 if I didn't remember wrongly. Cannot afford to eat this golden mushroom all the time. Indulge once in a while ok lah hor.

My empty luggage there. 9KG only.

I forgot to take a picture of my luggage back home because I was so excited to unpack. It's about 24KG for your info. You can imagine that. EXCLUDING my hand carry which is definitely more than 10KG because my mahjong set is already 9KG.

YES I BOUGHT A MAHJONG SET FROM SHANGHAI. BEST BUY EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT VERY CHEAP. 


I hand-carried that 9KG metal casing with me. Very troublesome and heavy but it's worth it! Damn pretty I love it. Will take pictures and show you guys later. Or wanna come now for a game? HAHAHA. Cannot wait to play mahjong with the new set.

My favourite waffle from Gek Poh after work on Sunday (Before my flight).

They make it on the spot and I can request to cook it for a longer time because I love it when it's super crisp! Yummy. My favourite flavours are KOSONG/PButter but I was trying out new flavours. This is blueberry jam and I'm gonna try the durian one next!

After washing up, met Donovan at the airport for dinner. Tried something new again. Dined in at Ramen Champion. Everything comes with pork pork or chicky but I managed to change for more vegetables. Was quite shocked at first because I thought there would be things like seafood/scallop ramen. But the onsen tamago saves everything else. I ordered the wrong ramen urgh I prefer those skinny ramen but I got myself those yellow noodles. Quite average tasting I would say.

Nana's friends planned a birthday surprise for her at Terminal 3. It was her birthday when we flew to Shanghai.

Ok I will try to write something about my Shanghai trip. Well, maybe not, since we went to Cheapo road three times in total you can imagine the amount of time spent on shopping so there's nothing much to blog about. Hehehe. Urgh, as you can see, my body clock is screwed!!
