Competition!

Congratulations to Miss Chan Ning for making it into the finals!!

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!

And good job to Beatrice, Xin Ying, Amanda, Liqi, Jun Ming and myself for having that much courage to talk on the stage.

Back to reality now! Feeling a little stuck with my timings. Time flies like mad and I'm getting old... Will the youth symphony be available still? Will I be good enough to join them? The thing about audition is quite scary.

When you are young, you have 1000 dreams. You have 1000 kind of different lives you want to live when you grow up. You have 1000 different kind of ambitions.

When the journey begins with you trying to reach your dreams, you get rejected, one dream down. Another dream down. Slowly, as you grow older, you have no dreams to pursue anymore. And because you are old, you need to survive. You have nobody to rely on. You have to support yourself, and your family. You need a job. You worked like mad to get a basic salary just for survival. You neglect all the dreams you had when you were young.

I'm getting old. Slowly, the number of dreams I had are also diminishing. I will want to at least fulfill ONE dream before I turn older, before I have nothing left to pursue and had to work like a mad dog just to survive.
