O-V-E-R

O-V-E-R!
oh-oh o-over!
YA-Y!!
haha.

netball training had finally come to a pause.
after so many days of continuous training, finally can rest! =D

although the trainings are tiring, i had lots of fun.
now having muscle aches all over my body.
worse than falling into the drain, but better than a handicapped person.

Went to my 舅母 house to watch "The Brilliant Brain" on national geographic channel.
sad right, i don't have cable tv. :(

it's about this particular Gifted boy who started performing on stage when he was only 5 years old. (piano)

when he was 2yr old (or is it 3? i forgot), he was at some gathering and he heard someone singing "mary had a little lamb". after that, he went to play the song on the piano without any training or knowledge of piano.

WOW.

*impt*
He can recognise pitches and notes so easily, so easily as we differentiate COLOURS.
GOSH. gifted!! but they say this talent is only found in 1 out of 10,000 ppl.

professionals then scan brains of gifted students and study about them.
they found out that start learning at young age makes a difference.
there's this girl who was isolated from the world and was locked in a room by her parents for many many years.

when they finally realised, the girl had grown up(i think 8years old. i forgot also). however, her brain was of a 16mth baby. that is because she wasn't exposed to the surrounding and therefore, stopped the developing of her brain.

she couldn't walk, couldn't talk. (basically like a baby lor.)
pros tried to revive her situation. unfortunately, failed.

conclusion was that: if your brain isn't develop at young age, and if tried to make it develop after a long time, it is impossible to make the brain revive.
(omg. i don't know what im talking about. but agar agar u know lah)

most gifted people are young kids.
because they do things at the wrong age.
so what if u see a 20 yr old person playing beethoven sonata? normal what.

but it is amazing if u see a 5yr old kid playing it.
it's just the age thing.

this is not so into life long learning hor.
haha.

however i still like the idea of life long learning.
because i'm not a gifted person, and i'm not that young already. haha.
so i still support life long learning.. =D

i feel proud of that gifted boy, Marc Yu.
he's an asian. brings glory to asian. hahaha.
ohya, and bcos he's gifted and had difficulties mixing with people of the mainstream, he studies at home. then he got those long hair(helmet like hair) Hahah....

And he can practice piano for 8 hours a day.
he said that he enjoys every moment of it.
OMG.
*guilty*

cos i find practicing piano is like a chore!! HAHAHA.
ops. =X

ok lah.
Gifted people.
ZZz.
